Jeromi Del Sol attaches great importance to protecting your personal data and respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what rights you have. It is drawn up in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data controller

Jeromi Del Sol, reachable at info@jeromi-delsol.be and +32 495 28 63 77, is responsible for processing your personal data via this website.

The data controller is a natural person who lets these properties privately, so no company number applies.

2. What data we process

When you contact us or submit a request, we process the data you provide yourself:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Preferred dates and number of guests (optional)
  • The content of your message

We also collect general usage data through cookieless, anonymised statistics (Vercel Analytics). No tracking cookies are placed for this.

3. Why we process this data

  • To answer and follow up on your question or booking request (performed at your request).
  • To arrange your reservation and stay in practical terms.
  • To improve our website through anonymised statistics (legitimate interest).
  • To measure how well our advertising performs, only with your consent (Google Ads).

We process your data on the basis of your consent and/or to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement.

4. Who we share data with (processors)

We only share your data with service providers that help us run this website:

  • Vercel: hosting of the website (our server functions run in the EU, region Frankfurt).
  • Resend: sending the emails that result from the contact form.
  • Smoobu: the booking system that processes the availability calendar and reservations.
  • Sanity: management of editable website content (travel guide), if activated.
  • Google: advertising statistics (Google Ads), only after your consent via the cookie banner.

We never sell your data and do not share it with third parties for commercial purposes.

Some of these processors (such as Resend, Vercel and Google) are based outside the European Economic Area or may process data there. Where that happens, the transfer takes place under the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as a safeguard.

5. How long we keep data

We don’t keep your data longer than necessary for the purposes above. Requests that don’t lead to a booking are deleted within a reasonable period.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access, correct or have your data deleted;
  • restrict or object to the processing;
  • withdraw your consent at any time;
  • receive your data in a portable format.

You can exercise your rights via info@jeromi-delsol.be. If you’re not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).

7. Cookies

For visitor statistics we use a cookieless, privacy-friendly solution (Vercel Analytics), which places no cookies. Functional cookies may be set by the booking system (Smoobu) to process a reservation.

We only place advertising cookies (Google Ads), to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns, after you give consent through the cookie banner. Until you accept, these cookies stay blocked (Google Consent Mode). You can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser, after which the banner appears again.

8. Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. You’ll always find the most recent version on this page.

We use cookies for advertising statistics (Google Ads) to measure which campaigns work. You can change your choice at any time in our privacy policy.
