The coastal tram is an institution: a single line runs from De Panne all the way to Knokke, calling at almost every seaside resort. From Blankenberge you can leave the car behind and simply hop on the tram.
Along the coast
Heading west you pass lively Ostend and picturesque De Haan with its cottage-style villas. To the east, the tram whisks you to fashionable Knokke in no time.
Bruges by train
Bruges isn't on the coastal tram, but it is just a fifteen-minute train ride from Blankenberge station, handy for a day of culture between beach walks.

Buy your tickets easily through the De Lijn app, and check the nearest stop to your stay. The tram runs frequently, even in the low season.
